Request for Comments

The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) is renewing the Kansas Medicaid 1915(c) Waivers for the:

  • HCBS Autism (AU) waiver program
  • HCBS Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) waiver program

The proposed effective date for the renewed Medicaid 1915(c) Waivers is April 1, 2022. KDADS seeks public comments from the general public on the proposed waivers from October 1, 2021, through November 15, 2021.

A draft copy of the proposed waivers may be accessed on the KDADS website at https://www.kdads.ks.gov from October 1, 2021, or requested from Anita Flewelling, KDADS Aging and Disability Community Services and Programs Commission, at Anita.Flewelling@ks.gov.

The public may offer comments in any one of the following ways:
